Veterans
Students who are eligible for one of the following benefits administered through the Department of Veteran Affairs Educational Benefits qualify for Veteran Student status. The benefit programs are:
- Montgomery GI Bill - Active Duty (MGIB)
- Montgomery GI Bill - Selected Reserve (MGIB-SR)
- Veterans Educational Assistance Program (VEAP)
- Survivors' and Dependants' Educational Assistance Program (DEA)

As a Veteran, the admission application fee is waived.
Adults in Transition Open House
The Adults in Transition Open House is a program for students interested in transferring to Wayne State University and adults considering a career change.
