Newly Admitted Students

Freshmen
  1. Receive letter of admission
  2. Log in to WSU Pipeline using your WSU AccessID and password and follow the instructions in the window displayed.
  3. Apply for financial aid and private scholarships
  4. Apply for on-campus housing
  5. Students who meet the eligibility requirements to participate in the WSU Scholars Day program and apply for the fall term will receive their invitation in February
  6. Attend the Undergraduate Preview
  7. Students newly admitted for Fall should attend the New Student Reception
  8. Register for your placement/qualifying exams required for your major
  9. Register for your New Student Orientation session and the iStart program
  10. Attend your orientation session where you will meet with an academic adviser, make course selections, register for classes and receive your OneCard
Transfer Students 
  1. Receive letter of admission
  2. Log in to WSU Pipeline using your WSU AccessID and password and follow the instructions in the window displayed.
  3. Approximately four weeks after your admission, you will receive your transfer credit evaluation
  4. Attend the Undergraduate Preview
  5. Review information on Placement/Qualifying Examinations to determine which, if any, you will be required to take
  6. If you are transferring to WSU with fewer than 30 credits, you are required to attend New Student Orientation where you will go through all of the steps you need to become a WSU student. If you are transferring with more than 30 credit hours, you are not required to attend. If you have more than 30 credits, you should contact an adviser, register for classes and then get your WSU OneCard.
  7. Remember to send final transcripts to WSU if you take additional courses at your school before attending WSU.

International/Canadian Students
As a newly admitted International or Canadian student you are required to complete a “Check-In Process” with the WSU Office of International Students and Scholars prior to attending classes.
